High Powered Rocketry
High Powered Rocketry
Outer and ASA SXC, two of our most active partners, are collaborating to create Invictus-Redshift. This is a two stage rocket, powered by an I161 on the first stage and an G78 on the second stage. This rocket will demonstrate air ignition, a key component of high power two stage rockets. This rocket will provide us airlighting expertise if we ever choose to pursue a two stage version of Aims-1, rather than the current single stage version. This rocket could launch as early as 2026, pending ASA SXC's Level 1 certification attempt.
HOLT
HOLT, named after The Holt, a region in Doom Eternal, is a 3 inch diameter high power rocket. It will fly on an Aerotech H128 with 10 seconds of delay, reach an altitude of 1900 feet, and go half the speed of sound while hopefully earning Exela/ASA SXC a Level 1 certification.
